Sunday: DKNY. We arrive to a slew of annoying press photographers and tourists seeking out celebrities. This was probably one of the most frustrating places to shoot. The street was lined with cars/snow piles and the sidewalk was very narrow. It made it hard to get a good shot when the slim pathway was filled with elbowing-photo-bombing-photographers.
As we were waiting for the show to start the security and PR girls were ushering people away from the wall of the building. They began putting up velvet ropes--making a direct pathway from one door to what I had already assumed was the backstage door. Then the most magical thing happened. What every blogger wants to hear come out of a PR girls mouth: "Yes, you will be able to see the show. The models will be walking outside."
WHAT. Rachel, Blake and I rushed to get a spot up front along the velvet rope. We positioned our cameras and the show began.

The show was really great. Of course, we only saw a fraction of it because there was another door that models were escaping through at the same time. From what I saw I loved it. Very sporty. beautiful colors and the fabrics seemed thick and comfortable.
After the show we stayed for some more model stalking. These models are just some of the most gorgeous human beings I have seen. I love taking their pictures because their portraits look like art. Not to mention I get and up close view of the makeup and hair from the show.
