Toward the end the night we decided to try our luck at the Helmut Lang show again. Unfortunately, we did not get into the show this year.. but we could still see the model's heads bob up and down on the catwalk as we peered through the glass doors and over the crowd. After the show we stood outside the backstage door and awaited the gorgeous girls.

To end the night Meredith, Rachel and I walked a few blocks downtown to meet up with our photographer friend at Billy  Reid. We had heard that one of Rachel's favorite male models was walking the show so the goal of the night was to get a picture of him and her together.

As we waited for the rooftop show to end we took some edgy photos with this rad backdrop... and when I say edgy and rad I mean stupid-out-of-boredom photos because it was dark and late at night and we were a little bit HIGH ON LIFE OKAY?!

We Just Walked Inside

Today we started off the evening with a trip to the Rag & Bone show venue. The only way I can describe it is that it was absolutely freezing-body-aching-cold. The snow flakes were huge and matted down on top of my bag and shoulders. It sounds like a winter wonderland hell but it wasn't too bad. Paulina and I put plastic bags around our cameras and went to work. I came out of the storm with a couple of nice photos.

Following the show we made a pit stop into a Dunkin Donuts for napkins to dry our cameras and warmth. We stayed there in the building for 45 minutes and then left for Helmut Lang. As we finally arrived to the venue--after accidentally jumping into an ankle deep puddle that iced over and looked like ground--we found that there was a plastic tent-like entry way into the gallery. A little while passed and soon the interns and PR people left the doorway...... We decided to walk right into the heated entryway which maybe turned out to be one of our best decisions. We had a direct view of the entire runway show. As the show started and the lights filled the stark white platform I almost had a heart attack. My first fashion show live in front of my eyes. Like WHAT

Tomorrow the girls and I are waking up early to go and have a breakfast (probably more like brunch because we are sleep whores) in Soho and then a little shopping before heading off to Prabal Gurung. Afterwards we will have Alexander Wang and then a concert (Timeflies) if it isn't canceled because of this crazy northern storm! Long day ahead of us but couldn't be more ready. Looking forward to posting tomorrow!
