It's about ValenTIME

Valentine's Day is approaching and the geniuses of tumblr have emerged again. With their awful use of Photoshop and Comic Sans script, tumblr is proving that this Valentine's Day is going to be a punny one. The trend was birthed a year ago (or that's when I noticed it) and now the dateless tumblr-ites are back at it. This time the jokes just keep coming; one more genius after the next. If these awful pick up line E-cards don't make you laugh, then you probably should have watched more children's television as a kid. Check out some of my favorites from this season:

I received this one last year from a friend and it was quite possibly one of the best Valentines Day gifts I have ever received.

Moral of the story is you should definitely stop everything you are doing right now and search the Valentine's Day hashtag on tumblr (or not cause what is tumblr). If you are a pun-loving child of the 90's or a part of any fandom you will not be disappointed.

Atelier Versace

I follow Lindsey Wixson on Instagram as any fashion enthusiast from Wichita Kansas should. While her posts are a rarity and sometimes rather strange, I am always grateful when one of her insta's grace my screen. Sunday night she posted a photo of her backstage at the Atelier Versace show. After fiercely double tapping my iphone all I could do was whisper, "hot damn."

While Wixson is always stunning.. she was mother flooping bangin in this get up. Is it bad that I just really want to curse my excitement for this outfit? I guess "bangin" clothes does this to me. To continue, this random Wixson Instagram event caused me to race on over to Style.com. I had to see the rest of the collection that was steaming up my Instagram feed.

Here are my favorite looks from the collection:

The silhouette's remind me of a bionic Roman. They are strong and metal-like with the shiny fabrics and bead appliques. That design aspect paired with the classic Versace look made an excellent pairing.

Lindsey's ensemble stole the show for me though. Or maybe it's because I am still on an American Hustle binge of low-cut boob-showing extra-sexy blouses.
